LinkedInA healthcare finance and revenue cycle performance management, analytics and outsourcing firm. Founded in 2007 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Staffed throughout the United States.
Zane Newitt began his career working in provider settings of every kind while completing formal education in the field. By 2007 he had seen the same pattern enough times to name it: revenue cycle teams managed by aging buckets and days in A/R, while the CFO managed an income statement the business office never saw. Excalibur was founded to close that gap, with a radical commitment to converting gross revenue into cash in a rapid, compliant fashion, and to a culture of data-driven decision making.
The Arthurian names came later, and they stuck for a reason. We work in an industry of nine-figure problems and eleven-letter acronyms. The Round Table is a seven-step journey where every seat has a job. AskMerlin illuminates what the data says. The Lady of the Lake studies what happened to a cohort. The Grail is the month-end close. Gwen gets the right account touched at the right time. Serious work does not require a joyless brand. The dragons are for us. The results are for you.
